Wilcutt Rd Condominiums

The developer of this project owned two adjacent sites that were accessed by different roads because of the elevation difference between the two sites.  The upper site was a sliver of land off of Mt. Bowdoin Tr, and the lower was a large plot with dilapidated home off of Wilcutt Rd.  The solution we achieved was to step the 3-story townhouse up the steep topography and place parking for the units on the more narrow upper site.  The result is a serious of alternating modern volumes that achieve an unlikely harmony with the site.  Large windows provide unexpectedly beautiful views from the upper floors and bring in unabundant natural light throughout the entirety of each residence.
